NOMOS Glashütte reimagines five classic timepieces
NOMOS Glashütte has reimagined five of its classic timepieces, transforming the original models into art.
The launch, titled Twice Unique, was first presented at Watches and Wonders in Geneva this April.
The redesigned timepieces include the Tetra 27, Tangente 33, Ludwig, Orion neomatik, and Tangente neomatik 38 Update. Each is available with both a stainless steel and an 18kt gold case.
For each piece, only a single set has been produced and will be sold as a pair. This creates a limited-edition collection of only 10 pieces.
The NOMOS team reimagined one of the pieces by drawing inspiration from textile designer Anna Diederichs, who created floral patterns in 1960s Paris.
The other designs utilise techniques such as polish lapping, engraving, and the use of gold leaf.
One of the dials, called Scribble, was methodically engraved by Saskia Licina, an award-winning jewellery designer and master goldsmith.
