Northern Irish brand Nomadic finds its pot of gold

The soaring price of gold of late has not put off Nomadic Watches, which has produced an 18ct gold timepiece.

Named the Golden Shamrock, the watch incorporates 79.5 grams of solid 18ct gold, which is used in the case, the strap buckle, the crown, the decorative bridge, and the chronograph pushers.

Timed to coincide with the recent celebration of St. Patrick’s Day for the Northern Ireland-based brand, the use of gold in this way represents a significant achievement for a brand that hasn’t yet celebrated its fifth birthday.

The watch is distinctive in its look, with the deep green dial being complemented by gold-plated indices and hands. All the gold elements in and on the watch are hallmarked by the British Assay Office.

Priced at £20,000 / $23,000, all three watches that were made in this very limited edition have been sold.
