Oris debuts Artelier Complication remodel at Watches and Wonders
Oris has launched a redesign of its Artelier Complication, an urban dress watch inspired by the moon.
Redesigned by product design engineer Lena Huwiler, the piece was unveiled at Watches and Wonders 2026 in Geneva.
The major update begins with the new Calibre 782 automatic. It has the same base architecture as its predecessor, Calibre 781, only without the gearing that served two further dial indications on previous models. The watch has a total power reserve of 41 hours.
On the inspiration behind the timepiece, Huwiler stated: “The Artelier Complication was previously a very successful Oris model, and it served as the basis for the new one. My goal was to translate it into a contemporary design.
“The most radical decision early on in the process was to use only two of the previous four counters, thereby controlling the focus and leaving a contemporary, uncluttered dial with sufficient space for the moon phase.
“For me, a moon phase watch is a romantic tribute to the traditional craft of watchmaking. In this new Artelier Complication in particular, the moon phase plays a more prominent role. It’s a watchmaking celebration,” Huwiler concluded.
The dial is available in three colours: ivory, midnight blue, and chestnut. It also comes with either a dark brown leather strap with a butterfly clasp, or multi-piece stainless steel metal bracelet with a butterfly clasp.
Alongside the Oris Artelier Complication, the Oris Star Edition is also seeing a revival, and the new edition will be launched at Watches and Wonders.

Powering the new design is the Oris Calibre 733, a Swiss-made automatic with a 41-hour power reserve. The case back is engraved with the 1960s Oris shield crest.
The strap model of the Oris Artelier Complication is set to retail at £2,250 / $2,800, whereas the bracelet model will retail at £2,400 / $3,000.
For the Oris Star Edition, the piece will retail at £1,750 / $2,100.
