Robert Gatward Jewellers joins Rolex CPO programme
Windsor’s Robert Gatward Jewellers has announced that it has joined the hugely successful Rolex Certified Pre-Owned (RCPO) programme.
The programme globally has been live since December 2022, and applies to watches that are at least two years old and have been maintained in their original state, except if Rolex itself has made any modifications.
“Our relationship with Rolex is built on shared standards, trust, and a long-term view of the market,” said company director, Marc Morrison.
“The Rolex Certified Pre-Owned programme allows us to extend that relationship into the pre-owned space in a way that reflects the values of both brands. It gives our clients complete confidence when purchasing a pre-owned Rolex watch, supported directly by Rolex’s own certification and by our experience as an authorised retailer. We’ve handpicked a collection that feels genuinely special, pieces with character, provenance, and lasting appeal.”
The new RCPO space at Robert Gatward’s Windsor boutique has been designed in consultation with Rolex architects, with signature shades of brown and beige at the heart of it.
The RCPO programme has commanded a significant premium for pre-owned Rolex watches since its launch, with major multiple jewellers reporting a mark-up of roughly 17%–40% compared with the same references sold outside of the programme.
