Slam dunk! Timex teams up with Space Jam for anniversary edition

Timex has partnered with Space Jam to celebrate the film’s 30th anniversary with a limited edition.

Limited to 1,000 numbered pieces, the Space Jam x Q Timex timepiece pays homage to the film’s 30 years of cult fame with a dial that captures the game in motion. 

Set against a cosmic backdrop, Bugs Bunny scores big as a rotating basketball serves as the second hand and a net painted on the underside of the domed acrylic crystal creates the illusion of the ball swooshing through the hoop. 

The 38mm stainless-steel case is paired with a blue rotating bezel featuring an elapsed time scale and finished with a five-link stainless-steel bracelet. 

Luminous hands, markers, and dial details keep the action going after dark and ensure easy readability in low-light conditions, rounding out a watch that captures the playful, off-the-wall energy that made Space Jam iconic then and continues to make it a symbol of nostalgia today.
