Studio Underd0g upgrades its 02SERIES collection
British independent watch brand Studio Underd0g has officially announced the second generation of its field watch line, the 02SERIES (Gen2).
The original was released in 2023 as a nod to the 1945 Ministry of Defence ‘Dirty Dozen’ field watches, and is now back with updates and upgrades.
For a start, the watch now has a slimmer profile, which the brand credits the tighter construction tolerances enabled by assembly at its UK workshop — ‘The D0ghouse’ — for. The case thickness has been cut down to 11.5 mm (9.4mm excluding the domed sapphire crystal).
The movement has also been improved, with a Sellita SW200-2 M Power+ calibre boosting the power reserve by 21 hours to 63 hours.
Two new distinct colourways — Nightshade (deep purple) and Red Lolly (cherry red) — have been introduced, and they feature a 1 mm thick tinted sapphire dial suspended over an etched sunburst metallic base.
With the introduction of these two new variants, Studio Underd0g is officially retiring two original colourways — Full Moon and Midnight.
The new lineup, which also includes Pink Lemonade and Steffany Blue, is priced at £875 / $1,200.
