Swiss watch exports up 9% year-on-year
Swiss watch exports in February reported booming figures, with 9% growth across the world.
Japan, France, and the USA in particular led the charge, with year-on-year growth of 24%, 57%, and 27% respectively.
Although affected by a low base effect, the positive growth figures will be welcome news for the Swiss watch industry as it heads towards Geneva Watch Week.
In volume terms, the number of watches increased significantly too, with 14% more units being exported than during February of 2025.
China remains in the doldrums, with exports to the country ranking them just seventh in the world, despite a population of almost 1.5 billion.
