TAG Heuer marks 50 years of the Monza with new Flyback Chronograph
TAG Heuer has celebrated the 50th anniversary of its Monza with a new 500-piece limited-edition Flyback Chronograph inspired by the original 1976 racing watch.
Unveiled ahead of the Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix at Monza and at the start of the Geneva Watch Days week, the anniversary model pairs a 42mm forged carbon case and bezel with a black dial which features matte chronograph counters, red accents and white Super-LumiNova details.
The new model is powered by TAG Heuer’s COSC-certified manufacture Calibre TH20-12, with its flyback chronograph function allowing the timer to be reset and restarted with a single press.
The Monza was originally introduced in 1976 to celebrate Niki Lauda’s Formula 1 World Championship victory with Ferrari, following Heuer’s appointment as the team’s official timekeeper in 1971 and a black perforated calfskin strap with contrasting red stitching has been deployed to complete the motorsport-inspired look.
The TAG Heuer Monza Flyback Chronograph will be available from September 2026, priced at £11,300 in the UK and $13,400 in the US.
