Two icons combine: Vera Wang and Citizen collaborate on new collection

Citizen is partnering with fashion design icon Vera Wang to curate a bespoke collection of women’s watches for spring 2027.

Part of the brand’s Eco-Drive 50th anniversary celebrations, the watches will be called the Vera Wang for Citizen collection, and will be a 24-piece designer watch line that taps into the designer’s eye for style, mixed with Citizen’s world leading Eco-Drive technology, which solar powers the watch.

“Partnering with Vera Wang, one of the most iconic female designers, was a rare opportunity,” said Citizen Watch America President, Jeffrey Cohen. “This wasn’t a licensing relationship; we collaborated side by side. Vera chose Citizen intentionally, and the trust and respect between us allowed her vision of how women wear watches today to guide the process. 

“The result is a collection that resonates with our long-time fans and a new generation of women seeking style, sophistication, and performance.”

Wang was equally enthusiastic and excited about the new powerhouse collaboration: “My decision to partner with Citizen was deeply intentional,” she said. “With more than 100 years of watchmaking expertise, they bring a level of technical innovation and craftsmanship that’s rare in the industry. 

“Their ability to execute at scale without compromising artistry allowed us to explore new silhouettes and reimagine how time can be worn for women who define their own style.”

Watch fans will be counting down the days before they can get their hands on the Vera Wang for Citizen collection in a year’s time.
