Two new colourways added to Nomadic’s Céad 126 collection
Nomadic Watches from Belfast has expanded its first chronograph collection, the Céad 126, with the introduction of two new colourways: Crimson Dawn and Deep Ocean Blue.
The word ‘Céad’ is Irish for ‘first,’ and the ‘126’ in the model’s name honours the 126mph average lap speed record set by brand ambassador Glenn Irwin at the North West 200, while also nodding to Joey Dunlop’s 26 Isle of Man TT victories.
The 40 mm case is 14.6mm in thickness, crafted from fine-brushed and polished 316L stainless steel, with a fixed bezel and 100 metre water resistance.
Meanwhile, the dial comes with flat anti-reflective sapphire crystal paired with Swiss Grade A BGW9 Superluminova® for greater legibility.
Powered by the manual-wind Swiss Sellita SW500-M-a Day/Date calibre, beating at 28,800 bph with a 58-hour power reserve, the Céad 126 comes on a custom leather, rally-style strap.
The 88 found on the tachymeter scale (as opposed to the traditional 90) is a tongue-in-cheek nod to the activation speed of the DeLorean time machine in the film Back to the Future.
These two new colourways in the Céad 126 collection are priced at £2,550.
