Watch Insider and the Grand Duke answer call for Geneva watering hole

Desperate times call for desperate measures, and Watch Insider is answering the call for a new British and Irish ‘embassy’ during Watches & Wonders.

The Grand Duke pub, based at Rue de Monthoux 8, has been identified by the Watch Insider editorial team as the perfect watering hole for thirsty exhibitors and visitors alike, after each day at the fairs.

Back in the Baselworld days, the ‘Pickwick’ pub served the role of bringing together individuals from all ends of the industry spectrum in a relaxed setting, for some decompression and networking. 

Geneva has been missing a similar focal point, until now. 

The pub’s owner told Watch Insider that he’s delighted to have been chosen as the venue of choice for the UK and Irish watch industry, and will ensure that the drinks are flowing for as long as they’re needed.
