Watchfinder cuts the ribbon on new Geneva store opening
Watchfinder has announced the opening of its latest store opening, this time in the heart of Geneva, Switzerland.
Founded in the UK by Stuart Hennell (who recently led a group takeover of beleaguered retailer C.W. Sellors) and Lloyd Amsdon, Watchfinder was one of the earliest dedicated e-commerce marketplaces for pre-owned watches.
Its early success led to the opening of physical showrooms across the UK, paving the way for the company’s acquisition by Richemont in 2018.
Under Richemont’s stewardship, Watchfinder has expanded internationally, launching physical locations in France, Switzerland, Germany, Hong Kong, and the US.
Speaking of its latest opening, its Geneva boutique manager Hamza Hrimzan said: “This is more than just a new space — it’s the result of the hard work, dedication, and passion of an incredible team, and an exciting step forward in bringing Watchfinder’s world of pre-owned luxury watches to our clients in Geneva.
“A big thank you to everyone who contributed to making this happen. I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve built together and excited for what’s ahead.”
