Welshpool Jewellers in Wales announces permanent closure

Welshpool Jewellers in Wales has announced that it will be closing down, after 46 years of trading.

The store is located on the High Street in Welshpool, and sells watches, clocks, gold and silver jewellery, and giftware.

Announcing the closure on its Facebook page, owner John Fox said that the time had come to hang up his hat.

“I would like to express my sincere thanks to all my friends and loyal customers who have supported us through the years,” Fox said. “My thanks also to my amazing staff for all their dedication and hard work over the years.

The final day of trading will be 31 December, with the jeweller offering 50% off all stock in the meantime.

“I will miss seeing you all and I will leave you with my best wishes,” Fox signed off.
